Cabinet makeover in turquoise

Here's a nice piece of furniture that received a real makeover. It began as a plain white cabinet. . .

 

. . . and has been transformed into a stunning turquoise beauty.

This photo doesn't really do it justice. You'd have to see it in person to appreciate the depth of color and the feel of the finish. Brown undertones, a layer of a secret sawdust mix that adds texture, turquoise, walnut glaze, flyspecking, antique gold highlights and two coats of sealer varnish. That’s a lot of layers!
